Life
in
Paje
From sunrise beach walks to kitesurfing adventures. From day trips around the island to nights out in Paje.
It's your day, your pace.
Beach Life & Kitesurfing
Life in Paje is shaped by the tides and the wind.
At low tide, the lagoon becomes wide, shallow, and calm - ideal for beginners to learn safely with plenty of standing space. As the tide rises, the water deepens and opens up for longer rides and more advanced sessions.
From June to October and again from December to March, steady trade winds create reliable kitesurfing conditions almost every day, making Paje one of the most consistent spots in the Indian Ocean.
Beyond the sport, the beach has its own rhythm - locals collecting seaweed, dhows on the horizon, and colorful kites moving across the sky. Paje Beach is truly more than just tides and wind.
Whether you are starting your first lesson or looking to improve your skills, we are happy to help with lessons, equipment rental, or honest advice on the conditions.
